Harris County Precinct Three Commissioner Steve Radack has a program to recognize and reward some remarkable students in area middle schools.  He is interested in finding students that might not necessarily be at the top of the class academically, but are deserving because of other contributions they make to our schools.

 The students are selected by their team of Core Class teachers based on one or more of the following: it might be an act of kindness toward another student, helping other students or teachers, or persevering when faced with a challenge.

 This program is to give these Super, Terrific, Absolutely Remarkable Students (STARS) a pat on the back for a job well done and to let them know that we really appreciate them.
