Student Council is committed to building community leaders dedicated to empowering student voices, advocating for the CSA student body. As part of the Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC), CSA StuCo completes projects under the four main umbrellas: Pride & Patriotism, Energy & Environment, Drug, Alcohol, Safety, and mental Health Awareness (DASH), and Community Service.
Why join Student Council?
Over the course of the year, students complete an array of projects to support state and national causes promoted by the official TASC. These projects help students build community here at Cornerstone and gives students of all grade levels a voice in matters they feel passionately about.
How does Student Council work?
- All students are welcome to join student council at the beginning of the school year!
- Dues are $15 and that covers the organization t-shirt and helps with various projects throughout the year.
- Students will be responsible for obtaining points throughout the year by volunteering, coming to general meetings, and helping to complete various projects.
